Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 September 2026
These terms apply when you book or use a service from ZeroCyber (ABN 48 146 931 869), run by Patrick Gold. They're written in plain English. If anything is unclear, email [email protected] before you book.
Prices
All prices are in Australian dollars. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of an ongoing service.
The 4 Essentials ($99)
- A 60–90 minute session, in person or remote, covering a password manager, multi-factor authentication on key accounts, automatic updates, and backups.
- What we can set up depends on your devices and accounts. If something can't be finished in the session, we'll tell you what's left and how to do it.
- Payment is due as stated on your booking or invoice.
- Need to reschedule? Please give at least 24 hours' notice and we'll find a new time at no charge.
Monthly Support ($29/month)
- Available once you've completed the 4 Essentials, so we're supporting a setup we know is solid.
- Included: security questions by email or text, with a reply the same or next business day, and a check-up every three months to make sure your protections are still working.
- Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
- Not included: after-hours or emergency response, hardware repairs, general IT support, setting up new devices, and business networks. We're happy to quote for these separately.
- Billed monthly in advance. Cancel anytime by emailing us; your support continues until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund partial months.
If something urgent happens
Monthly Support isn't an emergency service. If you think you've been scammed or hacked, contact your bank straight away if money is involved, and report it at cyber.gov.au. Then let us know and we'll help as soon as we can.
Business Cyber Review
Business services are quoted individually. The scope, price and timing will be agreed in writing before any work starts.
Your accounts stay yours
- You create and keep your own passwords, including your password manager's master password. We'll never ask you to send us a password.
- For remote help, you choose when to start and end each session, and you can watch everything we do.
- Please make sure you have permission to make changes to any device or account we work on together.
What we can and can't promise
The steps we set up greatly reduce your risk, but no one can guarantee you'll never be hacked or scammed. We'll always do the work with care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service concerned.
Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
